Jason Pierre-Paul bids farewell to New York on Instagram

With his trade to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers official, Jason Pierre-Paul has bid farewell to only professional sports town he has called home.

The defensive end posted a heartfelt photo and caption on Instagram, praising his time with the New York Giants, who drafted Pierre-Paul with the 15th overall selection in the 2010 NFL draft.

Today is a bitter sweet day, I have been blessed to be part of a world class organization and fans for the last 8 years. As I look back at my career with the NY Giants, I am filled with gratitude and appreciation for each and every moment I had with NYG.
