Janoris Jenkins is done playing games.
Actually, he just wants to play football games. He’s done with the will-they-or-won’t-they mental aspect of whether the Giants will deal their only veteran cornerback before Tuesday’s NFL trade deadline.
“At the end of the day, let me go be who I be,” Jenkins said after Friday’s practice. “Ain’t no pressure. Ain’t no arguments. If you are going to let me go, let me go. Don’t beat around the bush.”
The Giants shopped Jenkins at the trade deadline one year ago, but held on to him after dealing fellow defensive starters Damon Harrison (to the Lions) and Eli Apple (to the Saints).
