PHILADELPHIA -- Before any game, Eagles kicker Jake Elliott likes to walk out onto the field, even before warmups, to get a feel for the wind and what it was doing.
Sunday was an "interesting night", Elliott said.
He usually looks up to the flags at the top of the stadium. Whatever direction that's going, the wind is usually flowing the opposite direction.
Elliott took note, and "got a good feel ... I felt comfortable out there."
The Eagles kicker hasn't felt this comfortable since last season, a year where he became a Philadelphia folk hero for his late-game heroics, including nailing a 61-yard game-winner to beat the Giants in 2017.
