The landscape of the 2019 quarterback position might be changing as soon as the NFL’s “Legal Tampering” window opens on Monday, March 11th.
A report out of the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine from Philly.com states that the Jacksonville Jaguars are working on a contract structure to sign impending free agent quarterback Nick Foles. The report states that the Jaguars believe they are only a quarterback away from competing for a Super Bowl, and believe that Foles is that missing piece.
If this report is accurate and Foles winds up signing with Jacksonville, it could change the calculus of the New York Giants search for a quarterback to be the heir for Eli Manning.
