Jabrill Peppers must prove to Giants who he really is

With a new season set to begin, here are five Giants to watch when training camp begins on Thursday:

QB Eli Manning

For more than a decade, Manning was not a player to watch every summer. He was the established starting quarterback and used camp to fine-tune the offense. He remains the established starter, but he is 38 years old and 8-23 in his past 31 games, and the presence of rookie Daniel Jones means Manning’s expiration date is nearing. Coach Pat Shurmur insists it is Manning’s job but that Jones is gearing up to play Day 1.
