This is what the Giants are looking for from Jabrill Peppers.
The third-year safety, a key piece in the trade with the Browns that sent star receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to Cleveland, was easy to spot on the field Monday in the Giants’ first organized team activity practice. Wearing jersey No. 21 — the number Landon Collins wore the previous four years as the starting strong safety — Peppers was active from start to finish with his new team.
The most noticeable moment for Peppers came early, as he reached down to scoop up an interception off a nifty deflection from cornerback Sam Beal, who leaped and reached up with his right arm to get a piece of an Eli Manning pass intended for Russell Shepard.
