After Hunter Sharp's uninspiring performance Friday night against the Detroit Lions, it seems as though the Giants might be toying with the idea of making a change at the kickoff return spot.
During Tuesday's practice, wide receiver Cody Latimer was the first in line for the kickoff return duties during the special teams periods.
Latimer appears to be entrenched as the No. 3 wide receiver behind Odell Beckham Jr., and Sterling Shepard, but the Giants originally signed the veteran at least in part because of his prowess on special teams.
Latimer has returned 18 kickoffs in his career, for an average of 24.
