Inside look at Giants leap forward with McAdoo

In the end Eli Manning got his wish. Well, his second wish since his first was to continue playing for Tom Coughlin. The New York Giants are going with offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo as their new head coach.

The Giants hired McAdoo exactly two years ago to take over an offense that became stagnant under Kevin Gilbride. Manning was coming off the worst year of his career in 2013 with a league-high and career-high 27 interceptions and a full-season low 18 touchdown passes. McAdoo, who served as an offensive assistant with the Packers since 2006, was a guy Green Bay thought so highly of that the franchise actually blocked certain interview requests from inquiring teams.
