The Giants made a pair of bargain signings recently.
The Giants re-signed veteran backup quarterback Josh Johnson on Friday and they signed free agent cornerback Valentino Blake on Monday. Both players signed veteran minimum contracts for players with their experience level.
Johnson, who signed a two-year contract, is entering his ninth NFL season, so he is near the top of the veteran minimum contract scale. Blake, who signed a one-year deal, is cheaper because he is entering his sixth season.
NJ Advance Media obtained the contracts of Johnson and Blake.
