EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The New York Giants were thin at linebacker by the end of Tuesday’s practice.
Starting middle linebacker B.J. Goodson (sore back) left practice early after colliding with a teammate while covering a route near the end zone. He remained on the sideline and later chatted with coach Ben McAdoo.
Goodson’s injury did not appear serious.
Starting strongside linebacker Devon Kennard (soreness) was also limited. That presented opportunities for Curtis Grant, Calvin Munson and Stansly Maponga to work with the first team.
