The New York Giants announced Thursday that they’ve designated TE Darren Waller to return from the injured reserve.
The move opens his 21-day practice window and the team also confirmed that Waller would return to practice on Thursday.
Giants’ head coach Brian Daboll was asked on Wednesday about Waller’s potential availablity for Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints, and replied “We’ll see,” adding that they would, “go through the week and determine it at the end of the week.”
There’s no word, at least as of this writing, as to whether or not Waller will be available this week.
