New York Giants rookie running back Tryone Tracy was carted off the field with an apparent lower leg injury during Tuesday’s practice.
Reports from camp suggest that he suffered the injury after slipping and getting “twisted up” while attempting to return a kick. Ed Valentine noted that Tracy left the field in the cart with an air cast on his leg.

It’s obviously concerning that he was put in an air cast on the field, suggesting that the training staff at least fear that he suffered a fracture and the limb needed to be stabilized immediately.
