The Giants are so riddled with injuries that they are starting to repeat them.
Tight end Evan Engram, who missed the first two games of the season with a calf strain, sat out Thursday’s practice with the same designation, and wide receiver Sterling Shepard, who missed two recent games with a hamstring, was limited by the same affliction.
Neither player appeared on the team’s injury report on Wednesday.
It’s unclear if these are new injuries or aggravations of the previous ones, but they are certain to impact the two players who figure to have a big role in the offense on Sunday against the Panthers.
