Beatty, returning to the team that made him a 2009 second-round draft pick out of UConn, officially signed the one-year, all-guaranteed $1.1 million contract that also includes $750,000 in incentives on Wednesday. A source said Beatty returns primarily to work at right tackle, where the Giants are looking for competition and a possible upgrade for Marshall Newhouse.
