EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz wants so badly to turn the page. He’d like to move past the injuries that kept him out for most of the past two seasons. The questions, the comments, he wishes they would disappear.
Only, it’s not possible yet. Cruz has played in one game and scored one touchdown since missing the final 10 games of the 2014 season with a torn patellar tendon and all of 2015 with a calf injury. He also struggled with a groin injury for part of this summer, and his body remains a common topic of conversation.
