When a team is assembled, and those doing the assembling view their creation one way and reality proves that view as fuzzy and blurred, the obvious question is this: What went wrong?
Those with the stomach to take a look at the 2018 Giants and quickly shoot back, “What didn’t go wrong?’’ should realize it is not that simple. Nothing has worked out better than expected, but that does not mean everything has gone wrong — other than the results on the field, of course.
