ATLANTA — Donte Deayon, a long shot when he made the Giants’ roster, now is in the Super Bowl. The diminutive cornerback is a member of the Rams’ practice squad and thus has been in town all week, practicing as his team prepared for Super Bowl LIII.
“It’s been amazing,’’ Deayon said. “These dudes truly are together, playing for each other, the coaching staff to the players, the relationships feel genuine and just at a lot of things they’re putting together and keeping together in that building that’s just different.’’
Deayon, undrafted out of Boise State, made the Giants’ practice squad in 2016.
