Michael Badgley used to spend all season about one game in an NFL stadium, hoping for a shot at a New Jersey state championship. He got that chance as a senior in 2012, when he led the Hilltoppers to the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 3 crown.
These days, the 23-year-old runs onto an NFL field every Sunday. And after this weekend's win over the Ravens in the AFC Wild-Card round, Badgley and his Chargers teammates are just three games away from the ultimate football title.
