Jason Pierre-Paul’s firecracker folly may cost him millions, and a hospital worker thousands.
The CEO of Jackson Memorial Hospital, where the Giants defensive end is being treated, told TMZ Sports he plans on launching “an aggressive internal investigation” into how Pierre-Paul’s hospital records got leaked to ESPN.
“Late Wednesday, media reports surfaced purportedly showing a Jackson Memorial Hospital patient’s protected health information, suggesting it was leaked by an employee,” Carlos A. Migoya told the website.
“An aggressive internal investigation looking into these allegations is underway.”
ESPN’s Adam Schefter tweeted out the document to his nearly four million followers on Wednesday night in reporting Pierre-Paul had his right index finger amputated.
