EAST RUTHERFORD -- While the Giants' top offensive players got the night off in Friday's 20-12 loss to the Steelers in the preseason opener, rookie tight Evan Engram had a heavy workload.
The team's first-round pick logged 23 snaps on Friday. Engram got some snaps with the first-team offense, typically joining Rhett Ellison in two-tight end sets. Engram also got extensive action with the second-team offense in the second quarter and recorded one catch for 11 yards.
The rest of the Giants' draft class also got a long look in their professional debuts.
