The New York Giants signed undrafted quarterback out of Syracuse, Eric Dungey, who is looking to an opportunity to play at his natural position in the NFL. However, he might have to settle for something else, but that won’t stop him from competing.
The Giants have Dungey listed as a quarterback and a tight end, presenting an interesting theory. They might be looking to replicate the Taysom Hill effect that New Orleans utilized so well in 2018. Using Hill as a passer, tight end, blocker, and more, Dungey could play a similar role.
The four-year passer for Syracuse joins a talented group of rookies for the Giants including Daniel Jones, Dexter Lawrence, and Deandre Bakers, all first-rounders.
