One thing not lost in the widespread turnover of the Giants locker room: Hate for the Cowboys.
"It's tradition here and that's just what it is," linebacker B.J. Goodson said. "Exclamation point."
The rivalry lines drawn in the NFC East are not blurred by the fact both teams have so many new faces.
The only Giants only have 18 players on their 53-man roster remaining from the 2017 season-opening meeting between the teams, and the Cowboys are without faces of the franchise Dez Bryant and Jason Witten.
"Everybody is embracing it," first-year linebacker and defensive co-captain Alec Ogletree said.
