So far, so good. Hall of Famer Harry Carson likes what he sees from the rebuilt Giants defense.

“It’s like an altogether new, different group,” the former Giants linebacker told The Post.

Carson can tell a formidable defense when he sees one — he spent years directing traffic and dropping ball-carriers on some fearsome units — and the early returns with the 2016 edition are promising.

The Giants spent more than $200 million to fix all that ailed the historically bad 2015 defense. After two games, the Giants are No. 8 in the league in defense, having allowed just two touchdowns.
