Harry Carson has more in common with Susan Lucci than Terrell Owens.
At least when it comes to gaining overdue recognition.
Carson was the NFL star snubbed on the cusp seven times by the Pro Football Hall of Fame before gaining election. Lucci was the soap opera actress nominated for an Emmy 18 times before winning her first.
So, as 2018 Hall of Fame inductee Terrell Owens plans to boycott the Aug. 4 ceremony in Canton, Ohio presumably over resentment at having to wait until his third year of eligibility, would Carson like to explain to Owens what a long wait really feels like?
