Rookie CB Corey Ballentine came up with the play of the day, taking advantage of a miscommunication between QB Kyle Lauletta and WR Da’Mari Scott. As Scott cut inside, the ball was delivered to the outside and Ballentine was there for the interception. Once he secured it, he took off down the left sideline for the return. Earlier, Ballentine forced a fumble on Scott.

Working in full pads usually slows things down until everyone gets acclimated, and the result for the offense were a couple of false start penalties, one on WR Golden Tate and another on WR Will Hernandez.
