Golden Tate has been “Golden” since his Giants debut in Week 5.

Despite a prior PED suspension that resulted in Golden Tate not suiting up for the first four games of the season, Tate has been “Golden” since making his New York Giants Debut in Week five.

When the Giants first announced they had reached an agreement with 31-year-old veteran wide-out, Golden Tate, on a $37.5 million, four-year deal, fans were skeptical to say the least. Was it a blockbuster move? No.

In fact, for the most part it appeared to be a fairly mundane signing. And yet, here we are, nine weeks into a Giants season that has become a huge disappointment – following their fifth consecutive loss to the Dallas Cowboys this past Monday night – and Tate seems to be one of the few bright spots on a team currently going nowhere.
