EAST RUTHERFORD -- Wide receiver Tavarres King was just getting started when the Giants' season came to an abrupt end last year.

The journeyman receiver waited all season to get his shot. When it finally came in the regular season finale, King made the most of it.

King caught a 44-yard pass late in the fourth quarter of a tie game against the Redskins. The Giants kicked a go-ahead field goal four plays later and went on to win 19-10. King followed up with three catches for 73 yards, including a 41-yard touchdown, the next week in the Giants' 38-13 loss to the Packers in the Wild-Card round.
