Giants WR Roger Lewis arrested for driving under influence, police say

Giants wide receiver Roger Lewis was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated on Sunday, a Reynoldsburg (Ohio) Police Department records technician confirmed to NJ Advance Media.

Lewis' arrest was first reported by TMZ. A Giants team spokesman said the club is aware of the situation, but will have no further comment. A message left with Lewis' agent has not yet been returned.

According to the TMZ report, Lewis was pulled over for speeding and tinted windows earlier Sunday morning. Police then smelled marijuana and said Lewis demonstrated signs of intoxication, according to the TMZ report.

Lewis was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Giants out of Bowling Green in 2016.
