According to Howard Balzer, the New York Giants brought in free agent kickers Andrew Franks and Jason Myers for workouts on Tuesday.
Both players recently worked out for the Chargers and Bengals, but neither was signed to a contract.
Franks, 24, signed on with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Rensselaer back in May of 2015. He was entering the final year of a three-year $1.575 million contract and was set to make a base salary of $615,000 this season when the Dolphins waived him coming out of the preseason after they claimed K Cody Parkey off of waivers from the Browns.
