The Giants@g will promote the fan favorite and rookie wide receiver from the practice squad to help reinforce their injury-riddled receiving corps, a person with knowledge of the decision confirmed to NJ Advance Media. NFL Network first reported Rudolph's promotion.
The 0-5 Giants lost Dwayne Harris to a season-ending foot fracture in Sunday's 27-22 loss to the Chargers, and Odell Beckham Jr. is almost assuredly out for the year after fracturing his ankle. Wideouts Brandon Marshall and Sterling Shepard also left the game with ankle injuries, and Shepard is expected to miss at least one game, according to multiple reports.
