There were reports that the New York Giants didn’t want to trade tight end Evan Engram prior to this past Tuesday’s NFL trade deadline despite a lot of interest.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that the Giants turned down multiple offers for Engram and that the only way they were going to move him was for a first round pick in return because they believed trading him for anything less than that wasn’t worth it for them as an organizaton.
Despite an unimpressive season so far for the Giants, it’s obvious that Big Blue still believe in Engram and want him to prove that he can be one of the best tight ends in the NFL.
