The New York Giants announced on Wednesday that they have waived cornerback Ryan Lewis. He made a few starts in 2020.
The 26 year-old Lewis went undrafted in 2017 out of the University of Pittsburgh and then signed with the Arizona Cardinals. He’s also played for the New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills, Indianapolis Colts, Philadelphia Eagles, Miami Dolphins and Washington Football Team.
Lewis started out the 2020 season in the Giants practices squad but was signed to their active roster in week three against the San Francisco 49ers. He played in a total of five games before he ended up on injured reserve.
