The Giants released kicker Randy Bullock on Tuesday and brought back defensive tackle Montori Hughes.
Bullock became expendable on Monday when Josh Brown was reinstated from a one-week suspension for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy. Ben McAdoo said on Monday that Brown will kick against the Saints in Week 2.
Because he is a vested veteran, Bullock has the option of applying for termination pay which would allow him to collect his entire base salary for 2016: $675,000. If he receives that pay, he essentially will be paid $337,500 per point after connecting on two of three extra points against the Cowboys in Week 1.
