The New York Giants on Wednesday waived placekicker Cade York, who was signed to the 53-man roster when Graham Gano was placed on injured reserve with a knee injury. York was inactive for all three games he was on the roster after being signed off the Tennessee Titans’ practice squad.
The Giants instead chose to have veteran Randy Bullock, who had been signed to the practice squad, do the placekicking. Bullock is now out of practice squad elevations and the obvious move is to sign him to the 53-man roster.
Bullock, 33, has made his only two field-goal attempts and is 6-for-6 on extra-point attempts in three games with the Giants.
