DETROIT -- Saquon Barkley officially is out due to injury Friday night, but Odell Beckham is not.
Of course, Beckham isn't a lock to play -- far from it -- just because he isn't among the seven Giants listed as inactive against the Lions ... but it at least leaves the door open for the next few hours.
The inactives include Barkley, free safety Darian Thompson, cornerback Donte Deayon, tight end Ryan O'Malley, linebacker Thurston Armbrister, wide receiver Travis Rudolph and linebacker Connor Barwin.
Beckham was not listed as inactive for Week 1 of the preseason against the Browns but he did not play after warming up by running routes and catching passes with one hand.
