Quarterback Mike Glennon has cleared the NFL’s concussion protocol and will start Sunday for the New York Giants against the Los Angeles Charger, per NFL insider Ian Rapoport.
That was the expectation after Glennon, who suffered a concussion last Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, practiced fully on Friday. Glennon, though, still had to be examined and cleared by an independent neurologist.
In further good news for the Giants, Adam Schefter is reporting that wide receivers Kenny Golladay (rib) and Sterling Shepard (quad) will both play against the Chargers.
