Sunday’s game at Paul Brown Stadium against the 2-7-1 Cincinnati Bengals will be the most meaningful regular-season game many of the young New York Giants have ever played in. Win it and the 3-7 Giants will end the day atop the mediocre at best NFC East. A loss won’t end their title chances, but might show us they aren’t quire ready to be a contender.
The Giants have made the playoffs only once, in 2016, over the previous nine seasons.
Draft Kings Sportsbook lists the Giants 6-point favorites.
Football Outsiders has the Giants as the NFC East favorites, with a 33 percent chance of winning the division.
