There will be at least one surprise inactive player for the New York Giants when they take on the Chicago Bears this afternoon.
The Giants have announced that tight end Larry Donnell will be inactive as a healthy scratch today.
The move isn’t a tremendous surprise; with Justin Pugh (knee) and Brett Jones (calf) out, the Giants want to have Marshall Newhouse, Will Beatty, Adam Gettis, and Shane McDermott all active to provide depth for their offensive line.
The Giants also list WR Tavarres King as inactive, a vote of confidence for rookie receiver Roger Lewis Jr.
