Giants vs. Bears halftime score: Giants trail, 16-9 after a tough first half

The first half probably didn’t go how the New York Giants planned.

After winning the coin toss an deferring to the second half, the Giants started on defense. They came out hot, attacking the Chicago Bears’ offense, until a questionable roughing the passer call on Olivier Vernon extending an opening drive that ultimately ended in the endzone — though the extra point was missed.

The Giants responded with a good offensive drive of their own, running and throwing the ball well to put themselves in position for a Rashad Jennings touchdown — That extra point was missed as well.
