Let’s take a look at some New York Giants who could benefit from good performances in Friday night’s preseason game against the Chicago Bears.
Eli Manning — This isn’t about his starting job. It is just about quelling, temporarily, some of the noise. It would simply be comforting to see Manning throw the ball well, make good decisions and lead a scoring drive or two.
Kyle Lauletta — The second-year quarterback got his preseason off to a nice start last week. That needs to continue if he is going to convince the Giants to keep him around.
