New York Giants running back Shane Vereen re-injured his triceps in Sunday's 17-6 win over the Detroit Lions, according to coach Ben McAdoo.
When asked if Vereen re-tore the same triceps injury that cost him nine games this season, McAdoo responded:
"Yeah Shane re-injured his triceps. It's unfortunate. He worked his tail off to get back to where he was and I'm disappointed for Shane."
He originally injured his triceps in a Week 3 win over the Washington Redskins. He returned to field in the Giants' 10-7 win over the Cowboys, only to be placed in concussion protocol during that game.
