EAST RUTHERFORD -- Aldrick Rosas will kick on.
The Giants' unproven, and only, placekicker passed another test this past weekend. Veteran Travis Coons was brought in as a tryout player at rookie minicamp, but the Giants opted not to sign Coons (and his 28 career field goals), sticking with Rosas. That decision means the unknown from Southern Oregon should enter camp with the kicking job his to lose.
That doesn't mean Rosas will feel any extra comfort.
"I try not to focus on the competition," Rosas told NJ Advance Media.
