EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — The New York Giants certainly earned the day off players will enjoy on Saturday. Coach Brian Daboll put the fully-padded Giants through a two-hour practice on Friday in 92-degree heat that, according to the Weather Service, felt like at least 101 degrees.
Veteran defensive tackle Rakeem Nunez-Roches had no objection to the grueling workout.
“Sometimes we may go down to Florida. Sometimes we may go out to the heat. Sometimes we may be in Arizona. You never know,” Nunez-Roches said. “When the heat comes, it needs to be an advantage for us, not a disadvantage.
