Cornerback Valentino Blake and running back Shaun Draughn will begin training camp on the PUP list, New York Giants coach Ben McAdoo said on Thursday.
Blake, signed as a free agent, is a player the Giants are hoping will provide depth in the secondary. He has a back injury. Draughn, a veteran signed as a free agent, is competing for a spot as a reserve in the backfield. McAdoo said Draughn has an ankle injury.
General manager Jerry said that J.T. Thomas, who missed spring workouts as he recovered from a knee injury, was taking a physical and “we’re trying to make a decision on that right now.
