The New York Giants will be working out CFL quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell, per a published report.
The Giants are not, apparently, satisfied with Alex Tanney as Eli Manning’s backup, and are bringing in the two-time CFL champion QB for a workout with that role in mind.
Mitchell lead the Calgary Stampeders to a pair of Grey Cups, earning the MVP in both title games — something he and Eli Manning have in common. The 28-year-old played college football in the United States, quarterbacking for SMU and Eastern Michigan before going undrafted in 2012.
