The New York Giants head coaching search will include New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels and defensive coordinator Matt Patricia.
The Giants submitted requests to interview them on Monday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The interviews are expected to take place this week with the Patriots on a bye before their playoff game. New England is the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
The Giants are looking for a coach to replace Ben McAdoo, who was fired last month, along with general manager Jerry Reese. They hired Dave Gettleman as their general manager last week, and he will have input in their coaching search even though co-owners John Mara and Steve Tisch will make the final decisions.
