The Giants are set to interview a Pro Football Hall of Famer for one of the vacant positions on their coaching staff.
Former San Francisco 49ers head coach Mike Singletary is set to interview for the Giants' linebackers coach job on Thursday, according to ESPN's Josina Anderson.
Singletary last worked as a Minnesota Vikings assistant in 2013. He was a ten-time Pro Bowl linebacker with the Chicago Bears during his playing career, twice winning NFL Defensive Player of the Year. He was enshrined in the Hall of Fame in 1998.
Giants coach Ben McAdoo is in the market for a linebackers coach after Jim Herrmann left for the same position with the Indianapolis Colts.
