The Giants will begin their search to replace Tom Coughlin from within.
According to a source, both Giants offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo and defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo will interview for the now-vacant head coaching job in East Rutherford.
This does not come as a surprise. Coughlin's lieutenants were long thought to be possible successors to his position. Spagnuolo, the defensive coordinator during the Giants' Super Bowl XLII run, went on to serve as head coach of the Rams, although he struggled in that stint.

McAdoo, meanwhile, was widely rumored to be viewed as a head coach in waiting when the Giants brought him on board as offensive coordinator in 2014.
