EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Things looked promising for New York Giants tight end Larry Donnell earlier this week, but on Tuesday he found out there's a problem with his neck that could keep him out for a while -- possibly the rest of this season.
Donnell missed the past two games with the neck injury, but he and the team believed it was getting better and he was able to practice Monday. A follow-up MRI on Tuesday, however, revealed a new problem, and Donnell did not practice Wednesday.
"It's not looking good," Donnell said Wednesday.
