Though the Giants haven’t revealed how they will utilize their crowded four-man running back rotation against the Saints on Sunday, second-year back Orleans Darkwa is likely to be given another opportunity to carve out a consistent role after rushing for 48 yards and a touchdown in last weekend’s win over the Cowboys.
Though Darkwa didn’t get his first carries (eight total) of the season until the Dallas game, coach Tom Coughlin said he’s been impressed with the 23-year-old since the preseason, when he led the team in rushing.
